THE GUILD is a movement within the Church of Scotland, which invites and encourages women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.
The Guild is no longer the 'Woman's Guild', simply 'The Guild', and men are warmly welcome as members.
'Whose we are and Whom we serve.' The Guild's motto is taken from Acts 27, verse 23.
Meetings are held at 7 pm in either Tarves or Pitmedden Church on the 1st Thursday of each month from April to September and there is a wide and varied programme each session. Come and be enlightened, entertained, uplifted.
Do come along, you do not need to be a Church member or a Guild member to attend. You can always be sure of a warm welcome and, of course, tea, a fine piece and a chat with friends old and new.
