An introduction to Aquila
Let me introduce myself. My name is Aquila Singh and I am the new minister at Formartine Parish Church. I arrived in Tarves on Friday 5th December — I must admit I was nervous. Would I fit into the village (I know it is now a small town) and importantly would people like me! I guess many people feel that when they go somewhere new. We all want to fit in with the minimum amount of trouble.
Whenever God asks something of you, He doesn’t just leave you to get on with it. God always equips you for the task; He gives you exactly what you need. Sometimes you don’t even know God has helped you until some time afterwards when you think about what you did.
God’s fingerprints are all over your life; from the day you were born until now. God has always been in your life. He is your greatest cheerleader. Whatever life throws at you, God is there as your protector and shield.
And when there are days when you feel you have had enough and you do not want to take another step. In those moments, God will carry you.
Remember God loves you and He sees you. God never forgets you and always holds you in the palm of His hands.
